When I think Porsche, I think 911. When people mention to me 911, I relate it to the 911 Turbo S of today. Over the years, Porsche introduced much more usable product lines; Cayenne, Macan and also our highlight for today – Panamera Turbo.
The Panamera sports a 4.0 V8 turbocharged to churn out 550hp and complete the century sprint in 3.8 seconds mated to a PDK transmission. Do not forget, Panamera was designed for comfort. The interior has been fitted to an amazing level of lush, living up to the standards of a true luxury brand against the likes of Mercedes Benz and Lexus. The driver gets treated a large array of touch sensitive controls and that responsive touchscreen display that is so wide and crisp. The driver would never mistake the navigation again. This ‘Turbo’ variant for the Porsche Panamera has but me down in my work chair -fully-focused – paying every attention to the video brought to us by Carfection
Well played with the transformer-like spoiler wings. The Panamera may always have given me a love-hate dilemma over its silhouette, this time round Porsche has successfully roped me into the ‘Oh Yes!’ corner. Now burn some rubber.
